1.5.2 When must you write your reflections?
                                                                                                   Notes
Writing reflections is not a once-off exercise; it is a task that you will
be busy with on a continuous basis. This is where your reflective
journal comes in. It is therefore important that the format of this
journal is such that it must be accessible at all times to make notes
on your entire learning process as and when you think of something.
These notes are then integrated into your reflections.

1.5.3 What should be addressed when writing reflections?

When writing a reflection on any activity that forms part of this
programme, you should reflect on and pen down:

              (i) What … did I know about/skills did I have/experience did I
have/was my attitude towards … whatever you are reflecting
                    on PRIOR to the event?

              (i) What/which … new knowledge did I gain/new skills did I
acquire/changes in attitude did I experience resulting from …
whatever you are reflecting on DURING to the event?

(ii) How does this … new knowledge I gained/new skills I
acquired/changes in attitude that I experienced affect …
whatever you are reflecting on IMMEDIATELY AFTER to the
                    event?

(iii) How does this … new knowledge I gained/new skills I
acquired/changes in attitude that I experienced affect …
whatever you are reflecting on FUTURE engagement with the
event? E © Copyright reserved Professional portfolio and workplace project - Part 1
