Introduction

on the CD.
• An Admin booklet containing all the administrative
information you will require to complete your studies
successfully.
• Tutorial Letter I that will guide your study process engaging
with all the different modules.
• DVDs as it pertains to your programme (if applicable).
• you must start a Reflective Journal in which you write down
your reflections (this can be a hard copy book OR you can
start a Word document on your computer that serves this
purpose.
• you must start an 75mm A4 sized ring file that will become
your portfolio of evidence.
Computer Literacy
Since 2015, one of the requirements for all new teacher
qualifications, is that candidates must be computer literate and ICT
competent when completing a qualification. Students completing the
Advanced Diploma in Education (Leading and Management) must
be able to demonstrate computer skills and ICT competence at NQF
level 5.

If you are unable to do so, you CAN NOT graduate!
In line with the above, we provide you with the Computer Literacy
and ICT Skills module (NQF 05, 12 credits). Please work through
this module – by incorporating the skills gained from this module
L through your 2-year study period, we will be in a position to RPL you
